SCIENCE OF
RAW MATERIALS

> Each raw material is botanically certified and identified by their Latin name.

> Parts of the plant can synthesize different essences according to the plant organs. It is therefore of prime importance to isolate the distinct secreting organs before distillation in order to avoid a mix up of different essential oils.

> Depending on biotope (sunshine, climatic conditions, soil composition, altitude, and neighboring plant population) a given aromatic plant can produce bio-chemically diverse essential oils and thus needs to be chemotyped.

> Considering the time it takes to distill the raw materials is also imperative to the quality: the duration of the distillation process is of great importance. Long and prolonged, it will allow collecting the "totem" of the aromatic molecules i.e. base and topping notes and therefore produce a better quality.

DOCUMENTED HARVESTING

> Mode of cultivation

> Selection of plants (only healthy plants must be collected)

> Mode of gathering (only hand gathered)

> Origin (like wines there are essential oil vintages and the soil largely determines the quality) Vegetative state (harvest must take place during the vegetative state where the plant is richest in essence, mint must be collected before flowering before it develops toxic ketones)

> Moment in the day (wild roses and lavender must be picked in the morning after dew)

RAW MATERIAL QUALITY

> Using only very concentrated liquid extracts obtained by steam distillation of aromatic plants (essential oils). Steam distillation is the most difficult and delicate operation and aims to capture the most subtle and fragile secretions of the plant without altering them. > 100% Natural (not adulterated by synthetic constituents or mineral oils)

> 100% Pure (not mixed with other fatty oils)

> 100% Unaltered (not discoloured, peroxidised or rectified)

> These oils are 100% pure, 100% natural, 100% integral. They correspond in every aspect with the quality criteria stated. They are rare and their price is inevitably higher but is fully justified by their quality.

> The following information should always be mentioned: the certified botanical species (Latin denomination) and the distilled organ of the plant. Even if this information does not guarantee the authenticity of the oil, it implies the conscientiousness of Frazer Parfum and it guides the choice and presupposes a certain quality.
